The Universe is not quiet—it is filled with spectacular explosions and flashes of energy. This mini-workshop aims to explore what causes these dramatic cosmic events and what they can tell us about the Universe. With Prof. Brian Schmidt, we will also look ahead to future telescope projects in Taiwan and how they will allow us to see the Universe in new ways.
