1965
Establishment of the Physics Research Center
On July 1, the National Long-term Science Development Commission (Chairman Wu Dayou) established the Physics Research Center, with the Department of Physics of Tsinghua as the sponsor. The Department of Physics of NTU and the Institute of Physics of the Academia Sinica are co-organizers.
1967
The FSDC was reorganized into the National Science Council
The Changdc was reorganized into the National Science Committee of the Executive Yuan (Chairman Wu Dayou), and the Physics Center belonged to the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Group; By 1982, the Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division of the National Science Council was reorganized into the Natural Science Development Division.

Establishment of the Central Review Committee
In order to meet the needs of technological development, the organizational functions of the Centre were adjusted and the co-organisers were abolished from establishing the “Centre Review Committee”.
1987
Renamed as Center for the Promotion of Physical Research
In line with the development of science and technology, the mandate of the Physics Research Centre was changed and its name was changed to “Physics Research Promotion Centre”.
2001
The first Physics Newcomers and Research Promotion Seminar
Since 2001, the Centre has hosted regular seminars on physics newcomers and research promotion.
2014
Renamed as Physics Research Promotion Center of the Department of Natural Nature, Ministry of Science and Technology
On March 3, it was renamed as “Physics Research Promotion Center, Department of Natural History, Ministry of Science and Technology”.
2020
It was reorganized into the Physics Group of the Science Promotion Center
In response to the establishment of the Centre for the Promotion of Natural Sciences and Sustainable Research, it was restructured into the Physics Section of the Centre for the Promotion of Science.
2021
The Committee of the Centre was renamed the Executive Committee
In response to the adjustment of the positioning of the Committee’s Review Committee, the name was changed to “Executive Committee” from October.
2022
The Ministry of Science and Technology was renamed the National Science and Technology Council”, and the Department of Natural Sciences and Sustainable Research and Development was renamed the “Natural Sciences and Sustainable Research and Development Division”
