Semiconductor Physics, Semiconductor Fabrication, Semiconductor Devices, Medical Imaging Physics, and related courses.
Eligible Fields:
Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or other related science and engineering disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must support the educational mission of Fu Jen Catholic University, adhere to the University’s ethical principles, and actively participate in its holistic educational programs that emphasize intellectual, personal, and spiritual development. Faculty members are expected to help cultivate and transmit these values to students and contribute to the University’s academic community and culture.
- Areas of Expertise:
- (a) Semiconductor physics (experimental background preferred), semiconductor devices, semiconductor fabrication, or related fields; or
- (b) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), medical imaging physics, biomedical imaging analysis, or related fields.
- The Department has established Semiconductor and MRI laboratories, and applicants with relevant research expertise are encouraged to join and contribute to the development of these signature laboratories.
- A Ph.D. degree from a domestic or international institution.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and supervise students.
- Ability to teach physics-related courses and willingness to participate in departmental teaching, research, and service.
- Ability to assist in developing Semiconductor or MRI research laboratories is highly desirable.
- Experience with government-funded research projects (e.g., NSTC), international collaborations, or industry-academic collaborations is preferred.
- Ability to teach courses in English is required.
