E-Journal Alliance

About the Alliance

With the advent of the digital age, the Center for Physics established AIP (American Institute of Physics), APS (American Physical Society), OPG (Optica Publishing Group) and IOP (Institute of Physics) in 90 years by uniting 32 universities and research institutes and four major publishers in the field of physics and applied physics and other four major physics electronic journal alliances. For the journals issued by AIP, APS, IOP, and OPG, members of academic institutions are allowed to use online search and reading services, giving full play to the characteristics of electronic journals that are more convenient and fast to use.

Since its launch more than 20 years ago, the “Electronic Journals Alliance” has been well received, and in recent years, some units have joined one after another, and the number of alliance units has reached more than 30. Each unit can use it unlimited times within the scope of authority in the form of IP control. Although the alliance units vary slightly from year to year, and many universities of science and technology have been added in recent years, they have all met their lack of academic resources through this service, and at the same time, the funds for books and periodicals subsidized by the Ministry of Science and Technology have achieved the maximum economic benefits and resource sharing.
