National Taiwan Normal University, Institute of Optoelectronic Engineering and Bachelor’s Degree Program Teacher Recruitment Announcement

We are looking for full-time (project) teachers at or above assistant professor level (inclusive), and welcome outstanding scholars and experts with independent research potential to join the teaching and research team of this program; The appointed teachers should cooperate with the teaching of the bachelor’s degree program in optoelectronic engineering (optoelectronic experiments, special topics and other related courses), enrollment activities, and be able to cooperate with the current rights and obligations of the university in the use of research space and guidance of graduate students.

1. Qualifications and field expertise in demand

(1) Have a doctorate degree or assistant professor or above qualification in a related field of optoelectronics.

(2) Foreign academic qualifications or previous work in foreign academic research institutions is preferred.

(3) Complete English teaching experience is preferred.

(4) All courses must be taught in English.

4. Eligibility

(1) Initial teachers: those with a doctorate degree at home and abroad or an equivalent level of diploma.

It refers to those who have not been a full-time teacher at a junior college or above within 2 years (excluding male military service years) from the date of obtaining a doctorate degree to the date of recruitment announcement, and can be regarded as a first-time teacher who has obtained a doctorate; If they have practical experience in the industry, they are required to provide specific achievements for review.

(2) Non-first-time teachers shall meet one of the following conditions:

According to the qualification conditions for newly hired full-time teachers in the School of Science and Technology and Engineering, in addition to the initial teachers who have obtained a doctoral degree, the newly hired full-time teachers should have one of the following conditions:

1. In the last three years, there should be two academic journal papers published in SCI, SSCI, TSSCI, EI, A&HCI, the new system of THCI (formerly THCI Core) or SCOPUS in the Republic of China, and they should be the first author or corresponding author.
2. In the past three years, he should preside over at least two research projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology (formerly the National Science Council).
3. In the past three years, there should be an average of more than one domestic and foreign invention patent or international competition award per year.
4. In the past three years, he should have presided over at least one or more industrial technology development plans, industry science and technology plans or industry-academia cooperation plans, and there should be specific results for review.
5. Possess extensive practical experience in the industry and have specific achievements to review.

The above-mentioned journal papers and the research plans of the National Science Council (formerly the Ministry of Science and Technology) can be discounted against each other.

(3) List of personal works (papers and works in previous years, seminar works, patents, research plans, specific contributions to the industry, awards and other favorable examination materials; Among them, the impact factor, ranking of the publication year should be detailed in the following papers, and the full text of up to five works within the next 5 years should be checked, of which the representative works should additionally indicate the contribution description and proportion of each author). ※If you do not have a certificate of assistant professor or above, please attach a copy of the full text of your doctoral dissertation.
