Who can benefit
Current staff, researchers, or students who participate in the PRPC&IOP Alliance membership can publish papers in a Gold open access mode without paying the Article publication charge.
*Very few journals have a publication fee or color image fee, which is still to be paid by the corresponding author.
Journals that comply with the conversion agreement
Membership benefits upgraded
1. Upgrade access rights: All members will be upgraded to all journal access rights (including ECS titles) of IOPScience extra.
2. Upgrade to perpetual access: All members are upgraded to the perpetual access to all IOPScience extra journals for the current year.
3. Expand the scope of services: In addition to the journal subsidy, expand the service of submitting OA articles, and there is no upper limit on the number of articles
4. Enhance research visibility: Make research more visible and increase international academic influence
5. Reduced reputational damage: Researchers don’t have to worry about missubmitting to predatory journals
6. Save overall costs: For institutions or individual researchers, there is no heavy financial pressure to publish OA articles
