Department of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT)
Full-Time Faculty Position (Assistant Professor or Above), Spring Semester of Academic Year 2025
I. Position Title and Number of Vacancies
One full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above
II. Qualifications
A Ph.D. degree in Electro-Optical Engineering or a closely related field.
Specialization in any of the following areas is preferred:
Optical Communications
Optical Engineering
Display Technology
Optoelectronic Materials and Devices
Applicants with experience in international collaboration and the ability to teach in English are preferred.
Applicants must meet the minimum publication requirements for new full-time faculty as stipulated in NTUT’s review regulations.
In accordance with Article 25 of the Technical and Vocational Education Act, faculty teaching professional or technical subjects must have at least one year of industry experience related to the teaching field.

For applicants without a teacher’s certificate and with foreign degrees, both the diploma and transcripts must be verified by a Taiwanese overseas representative office.
Additionally, include a summary of study abroad, and records of entry and exit before, during, and after the study period.

Signed Declaration Form for Appointees

Proof of at least one year of relevant industry experience in the teaching field

Indicate SCI/EI indexing, Impact Factor, and journal ranking

According to Article 26 of the Technical and Vocational Education Act, faculty members must engage in at least six months of professional training or industry-related research every six years in collaboration with industry or relevant institutions.
Foreign applicants must submit a Police Criminal Record Certificate.
